Q: Who is in the running to get Nnamdi Asomugha, and who do you think will probably get him?

A: I guess I should give you my answer before I present my point. Who is in the running to get Asomugha? From what I heard it is Cowboys, Jets, Patriots, Houston, and Atlanta. Who do I think will get him? I would have to say probably Cowboys, Patriots. Now that I answered your question I won’t to point out that I think whoever gets him will probably over pay him. Compare Nnamdi Asomugha to NY Giants cornerback Corey Webster statistics Asomugha is heading into his 9th season in the league and over his 9 years he has amassed 310 tackles (272 solo), 62 pass deflections, 2 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, 11 interceptions and 1 returned for a touchdown. Now those sound like good numbers right? Well first I want to point out 8 of those interceptions came in the 07 season and he had none last season. Now Cory Webster from the Giants is headed into his 7th season meaning he’s two years behind Asomugha and in his 6yr career Webster has amassed 250 tackles (228 solo), 68 pass deflections, 2 sacks, 6 forced fumbles, 10 interceptions, and 1 TD and had 4 interceptions last season. I guess what I’m getting to is Asomugha might be the biggest overrated free agent I seen since Albert Haynesworth

Q: What do you think about the draft the 49’ers had and what do you expect of them this season?

A: they had an excellent draft in my opinion a solid grade B+, they added depth to a positions they felt were needed they got a RB that will probably beat out Brian Westbrook for the backup position. They got Colin Kaepernick who they say is faster than Cam Newton he has a stronger arm and had a better collegiate career statistics wise, he can be the secret to that organization. I expect them to get 8-10 wins and if they can surprise a top team like Pittsburgh, Dallas, New York they definitely have a chance. It’s between the 49’ers and Rams on who will win that division.
Q: Do you think the Eagles will trade Kolb and if so what will they receive for him?
A: I think it’s a good chance that Kevin won’t be in Philly next season; we might possibly see him in Cincinnati, Seattle, or even Buffalo. I’m not sure what they will get for him, the Eagles say they want a 1st round pick for him and his agent said they want a big contract wherever he goes…But he hasn’t earned any of that yet. We have not seen him play in 10 games yet so he definitely doesn’t a big contract or a 1st round pick for him.

Q: when do you think this lockout will end, and will we miss any games?

A: I honestly don’t know I think once the 8th circuit court rules on whether they should have put the stay until they rule in the other cases can determine when we get a season. If they rule that no stay should be in place than we can get free agency, OTA’s, Mini-Camps, and Training Camps. So really we just waiting on this ruling and then we can be more understanding of what we’re looking at. I don’t think we will miss any games.

Q: Who wins the AFC East & NFC East?

A: In the AFC East I would probably have to go with who’s being running that conference for the past years, the Patriots. Not only are the Jets the little brothers to the Giants in NY but they're the step sons to the Patriots in the conference. In the NFC East I think that’s a little bit harder to determine in the last 3 years three different teams have won it and in the last 6 years each team has won it twice, but it seems like that the Giants are always the winner win the new cycle starts over so I’m going with them.
